Gonzalo Varela is a lawyer and founding partner of VARELA | ABOGADOS.
Gonzalo concentrates his practice in the defense of clients in civil and commercial litigation before ordinary and arbitration courts, providing services in general corporate matters and in insolvency and restructuring of liabilities.
In the area of dispute resolution, he has advised companies and their controllers in highly complex corporate and commercial disputes, actively engaging with clients and leading multidisciplinary teams.
In bankruptcy matters, he has experience in liquidation proceedings for debtor companies and in cross-border insolvencies.
He has participated in merger and acquisition processes and has advised national and multinational business groups, foundations and chambers of commerce in both transactional and day-to-day matters.
